Coat-Dresses from Burberry Prorsum Resort 2011

OUTERWEAR
I adore these coat-dresses :)

Lately, I've been looking for a jacket, an ever-last jacket with a nice cut and classic style. Khaki colors and military look become trends this summer.

A jacket or a coat-dress is very useful, and also helpful, for hijabi muslimah. We need it as an outerwear. If we need to go outside, all we have to do is just wearing it over our usual tops at home. Cover the feet with long skirt/pants, and put on a headscarf. Maxi dress also a perfect pair for a jacket.

Look at these Burberry Prorsum Resort 2011's coat-dresses/jackets, and tell me what do you think about these? I love the style and the colors. A classic or military style with khaki colors, there's also a black-and-white animal print, and a textured material.

But, to make it hijab-friendly, we need to remove or loosen up the belt. The wide leather-belts with Phyton print and the studded belts are fabulous, but it makes the clothes look unmodest. Perhaps, a more-modest way to wear the belt is wearing it underneath the jacket (on your skirt/maxidress), instead of wearing it as outerwear, and let the buttons of the jacket open.

  1. I do NOT understand why everyone cinches every single item of clothing. Even before I was a muslim, i never did it because it makes you look like you have a muffin top! lol. my smallest part of my waist is right below my bust line so that is DEF. not the right place to cinch haha
